Assign students to review the material in one of the four different digital "folders." Each folder has information that tells part of the story of Poplar Island. Together, the four folders examine the history of Poplar Island from a thriving small community to a vanishing habitat to a successful environmental restoration project.

After students review their folder, they will be creating a poster or PowerPoint summarizing the key concepts, facts, and information in their "folder." Students will present their findings to the rest of the class, helping them to cement their learning and practice their communication skills.
